Kali

               Believe in Magic!

After being raised in the warmth and sun of Florida, Kali moved to New York during her teen years.  Here she was introduced to the performing arts while participating in the school band, chorus, plays and productions.  In her free time she studied modern dance, drama and  ice skating.  Presently Kali studies Middle Eastern dance and ballet.

Magic entered her life in December  of 1999, when Kali met her husband, Neech, who was a performing  magician in New York City.  She became his assistant, as well as his wife, which led to her learning and performing magic.  Today she also arranges the choreography, edits the music and brainstorms new magic techniques and props..  Together, Kali and Neech have performed Off-Broadway in New York, at dinner theaters throughout New York,  New Orleans and at corporate events throughout New England.

Kali particularly enjoys working with her "animal stars of magic"!  Kali  performs illusions with unusual  animals that one never expects to see in a magic show.  Kali strives "to take her audience to another place."  Not only with words, but with unusual props, costumes, scents and music that touch all of the viewer's senses.  She will transport her audience to the Mid-East in one scene and to the Victorian era in another.  This makes Kali and Neech's show unlike any other magic show.

When Kali is not busy with magic, she and Neech enjoy activities such as skiing, snowboarding, sailing and horseback riding.

Kali is a member of the Society of American Magicians and is the founder and SYM Leader of The Society of Young Magicians - Newburgh, New York Assembly.
